Visit narrative:
What an insane hike up. Certainly some adrenaline, fear, tears, frustration, hope, amazement, wonder all in one. What a relief when we finally surfaced on the top of our ridge (which we then hiked along) We passed another Wheeler looking cairn, but it wasn't ours. Could have been another station. We ridge walked about 2 kilometers which was great going, still, legs are sore and knees ache. But it's gorgeous up here! The views are truly spectacular. And - how nice to see a giant cairn. The day is really moving on; we started hiking at 9am! We hope to leave here by 5pm. Basically left on time! Heading down to Moose Lake Stn. west no.2, which is on the way down anyways.
Weather narrative:
Sunny, windy, chilly up here. Some long white clouds to the southwest, but not much. The rest is blue, blue sky. An amazing day and this late in the day the light's been perfect.
