Visit narrative:
Drove from Whitehorse Creek campground where we are staying past the hamlet of Cadomin and turned on a little gravel road just before the train tracks crossing (S side of the train tracks). Parked at the end of the gravel road. Walked across the train track bridge, followed the tracks approx 500m (100m past the cement blocks with the "end of the tracks" sign ) Lots of prings in the coal on the way (large paw prints.. big dog, wolf, coyote?) We are all keeping our eyes peeled as we saw a grizzly in the are this morning. From tracks we walked up to a grassy meadow up to second step, on a mound that is slightly more prominent than the rest.
Weather narrative:
So socked in this morning, we sent the heli away and called it a day. Now it is beautiful, sunny, warm and low winds. Lots of bugs. Far peaks we are trying to shoot are still covered in clouds.
