Visit narrative:
Last station in a series of 3! Gorgeous vista to the west, with beautiful sights of the eastern slopes. Missinglink Mountain, you did not disappoint. Hiked further N from Parlee Stn. 41, through a changing ecotone. We are now in what feels like a subalpine ecotone; scree, krumholtz, with rocky terrain. Bushwhacking was necessary, not a defined trail. Boy, the sun sure is shining. Not a cloud in the sky. Sun beating down upon us. The bugs love it. We've arrived at the true summit, marked with an upper and lower cairn. Both cairns appeared to be altered by visitors. Station is located at upper cairn. Not the cairn on the cliff. Water is spars after our long journey. We're all dreaming of a cold beer. Historic 177 not shot due to overgrowth. No alternate available. Need drone to complete.
