Visit narrative:
We parked where road 532 meets Range Rd 42A. We turned north onto a gas road and parked at a locked gate. We hiked about 6 km up the road. We bushwacked through the forested area that wraps around Plateau Peak, the emerged at the open area at the start of the ridge leading up to the summit of Sentinel Mt. There is a cairn on top, though the place where Tuttle took the shots was further North on the ridge. It is quite cloudy but the views of the peaks are clear. It is a bit chilly up here. No wildlife yet. Kristen flew over us in the helicopter to say hello.
