Visit narrative:
Mandy, Scott and I are dragging out the field season out as long as we can since we are so in love with this job. We just got a drive in, with a few photos from library and Archives Canada and can now extend out stay in Shaunda for another few days. This morning we left Shunda at roughly 8:45 and drove to the Cline River day base, where we picked up Cam in HHA and flown to a hill on the side for the north end of the lake Abraham. I don't even know the name of the hill we are on because we don't have an NTS sheet for the area but it is a hill with small cliffs on its east facing side and is west by northwest of highway 11, just after the last large bend before Abraham Reservoir.
Weather narrative:
While the thermometer only reads 19ÂșC, there is not a cloud in the sky and it feels very hot. Almost no breeze. There is a bit of haze in the valley from the parks/SRD prescribed burn that is located about 30 - 40 kilometers west down the valley.
